Next represents a groundbreaking collaboration between Reece, Australia's largest plumbing supplies business, and Trout, a multi-disciplinary design hub, creating a strategic design centre that fosters insight, innovation, and education. This ground-floor studio space supports the creative ideological process through environments intimately connected to function—featuring mobile furniture, adaptable work benches, and curtain-separated spaces that respond to inhabitant needs. Raw imperfection, creativity, and stimulation translate into built form, creating spaces always alive with creatives generating ideas, problem-solving, and innovating for the Reece community.
Adaptive Creative Infrastructure
Mobile furniture, work benches, desks, and meeting rooms create infinite spatial configurations. Curtain-separated zones allow spaces to transform based on creative requirements, supporting the fluid nature of innovation work whilst maintaining visual and acoustic flexibility essential for breakthrough thinking.
