CUB's workplace transformation champions agile working principles through evidence-based space planning. Observation studies revealed their highly collaborative culture, informing design decisions that improved collaboration spaces, introduced desk sharing, and eliminated private offices entirely. The design celebrates CUB's Australian heritage through local materials whilst creating transparent, connected environments that support fluid operational requirements and enhanced team interaction.
Evidence-Based Agile Design
Observation studies proved CUB staff spent minimal time at individual desks, preferring collaborative environments. This research foundation guided our removal of traditional office structures in favour of dynamic, shared spaces supporting natural working patterns.
