The "ante-office" concept we developed for innovation consultants, Agents of Spring, challenges conventional workspace assumptions by creating adaptable environments that morph seamlessly between functions and uses. Rather than fixed desks, reception areas, or traditional meeting rooms, we designed one large creative space featuring write-on walls, mobile tables, and ceiling-mounted power connections that transform workshop environments into collaborative workplaces. The design embodies three key elements—flexibility, inspiration, and play—creating environments that encourage clients to step outside usual thinking modes, identify opportunities, and unlock innovative growth through curiosity-driven problem-solving methodologies.

Morphing Space Innovation

Mobile tables connect and disconnect to ceiling power, enabling seamless transformation from workshop configuration with butcher's paper walls to collaborative workplace layouts. This adaptive infrastructure supports diverse working modes from individual focus to 30+ person creative sessions without spatial compromise.

"The new space we've designed reflects that passion, encouraging her clients to step outside their usual thinking modes to identify opportunities, unlock new ideas and inspire growth."

Project completed by the team whilst at GroupGSA and Artillery.
